Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Teacher to join our team and inspire students from elementary through high school. In this role, you will develop engaging lesson plans, support diverse learning needs, and create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes growth in academics, social skills, and creativity. Your dedication will help shape the educational journeys of our students and foster their development across multiple domains.
Duties
Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and arts.
Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and behavior management.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of children with special education requirements or those requiring early intervention.
Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain an organized, respectful learning environment.
Assess student progress through standardized testing, tutoring sessions, and ongoing evaluations.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child's overall development and welfare.
Incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies as appropriate to enhance learning experiences.
Skills
Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers.
Proficiency in classroom management, behavior management, and childcare techniques.
Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and needs, including those in special education or requiring early intervention services.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and team members.
Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and literacy education strategies.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3.5 – 8 per week
