Electrical Assembler Tech
Job DescriptionElectrical Assembler Technician Responsible for performing electrical installations on manufactured equipment, troubleshooting electrical systems, diagnosing failures, and completing repairs. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical and manufacturing background, can read prints and follow standards, and works effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Primary ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and replace components in controllers, switchboards, switches, conductors, and other electrical devicesTest solid-state circuitry to identify defective parts in digital and analog equipmentInstall enhancements and upgrades to electrical subsystemsProgram VFDs, PLCs, and other control systemsRead and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructionsInstall components using current assembly practicesSafely operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workstationComplete required assembly documentationFollow all workplace safety proceduresPerform other duties as assignedQualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum two years of electrical experienceAn accredited certificate in low- or medium-voltage equipment preferredManufacturing and/or oil & gas maintenance experience a plusExperience working with low- and medium-voltage electrical equipmentAbility to calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and install instrumentation and electrical equipmentAbility to read blueprints and electrical printsStrong time management skills in a manufacturing environmentAbility to safely use hand tools, PPE, and follow all safety proceduresDetail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracyStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAdaptable in a changing, fast-paced environmentTeam-oriented with strong communication skillsKey AttributesAttention to detailAbility to stay on task and follow throughSafety consciousCustomer-focusedPositive attitudeStrong organizational and prioritization skillsAccountability and ethical conductStrong team playerSchedule: Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 5 PM (with a 1-hour paid lunch), Saturdays as neededPay: Hourly $20 to $40 an hourRequired qualifications or experience: The electrical assembler tech needs to be able to read electrical schematics, be able to make basic electrical terminations, and can follow basic troubleshooting steps.Meet Your RecruiterMark Edward MorrisonBusiness Development ManagerMark was the first hire when American StaffCorp launched the Oklahoma City branch in 2008.
