Senior Industrial Hygienist Specialist

Senior Industrial Hygienist SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced Industrial Hygienist with a strong background in military or government settings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in conducting comprehensive industrial hygiene surveys, workplace exposure assessments, and managing industrial hygiene programs. This position is located on site in Bethesda, MD and requires a Secret Clearance.We offer a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience. If you have a passion for ensuring workplace safety and health in complex environments, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:Manage and execute industrial hygiene and employee exposure monitoring programsConduct comprehensive workplace exposure assessments in various environments including research laboratories, industrial facilities, and health care settingsPerform personal exposure monitoring for airborne contaminants and noiseConduct indoor air quality investigationsProvide industrial hygiene consultation in response to adverse eventsAssess effectiveness of existing controls and make recommendations for PPE, respiratory protection, and medical surveillance programsEvaluate test plans for experimental projects to identify health hazardsTrain and provide technical supervision to junior industrial hygienists and techniciansQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related fieldMinimum 7 years of experience in industrial hygiene, preferably in military or government settingsStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standardsExperience with industrial ventilation systems, radiation safety, and hazardous materialsExcellent communication and report writing skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust have a Secret ClearanceDesired:Certifications such as CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist)Experience with CBRNE operationsPrevious experience working for a Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC)What You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
