Job Title: Senior Mechanical EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to develop system architectures for new products and integrated systems, such as advanced AC, DC, and hydraulic hoist and winch systems, cargo hooks, and accessories. The role involves developing equipment and systems specifications, conceptual and detailed designs based on customer needs, and applying mechanical engineering principles to analyze forces, moments, and stresses.ResponsibilitiesDevelop system architectures for new products and integrated systems.Create equipment and systems specifications, conceptual designs, and detailed designs.Apply mechanical engineering principles for analysis of forces, moments, and stresses.Provide mechanical and systems engineering services, including 3D solid modeling, computer-based simulations, rapid prototyping, testing, and technical documentation.Identify and incorporate advanced materials, processing techniques, coatings, and surface treatments into next-generation products.Develop and execute project plans to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.Provide project management services from concept to completion for both in-house and outsourced projects. Essential Skills10+ years of experience in aerospace and aviation electro-mechanical design.Understanding and/or experience with technical documentation utilizing Mil-810 standards.Experience developing products in ISO-9001 or AS9100 environment.Expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS software.Ability to conduct weight analysis and loads assessment.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.Proficiency in project management, design for manufacturability, and Creo software.Experience with vibration analysis, fatigue analysis, and EMI testing. Additional Skills & QualificationsProject management experience, including financial and budget tracking, is preferred.Strong experience in design configuration management.Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or Aerospace Engineering (AE) is preferred.Strong leadership, organizational, and meeting facilitation skills.
