Mold Setter Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Mold Setter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and adjusting molds for production processes, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing principles and the ability to work with various machinery and tools. Duties Set up, adjust, and maintain molds for production runs. Operate precision measuring instruments to ensure mold specifications are met. Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to maintain product integrity. Handle materials effectively, ensuring proper storage and organization. Utilize logic controllers for monitoring and controlling machinery operations. Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices for improved efficiency. Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the facility. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations. Requirements Proven experience in mold setting or a related manufacturing role is preferred. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to mold settings. Knowledge of materials handling procedures and safety practices. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles is desirable. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
