With projects across the Western United States and a reputation for safety and precision, we are expanding our field leadership team in Phoenix. We are seeking a General Foreman with a background as a journeyman Ironworker to oversee field operations across multiple crews and phases of structural steel erection.Position SummaryThe General Foreman is a senior field leader responsible for driving jobsite safety, field production results, and crew performance. This individual will coordinate day-to-day operations, manage multiple foremen and crews, and ensure all activities align with the project's budget, schedule, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate brings a balance of field expertise, leadership, and discipline in managing resources and timelines.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and enforce all aspects of jobsite safety, ensuring full compliance with OSHA and EZARC standardsLead and be accountable for achieving daily and weekly production targets while maintaining quality and safetySupervise and support multiple Working Foremen and Ironworker crews during all phases of structural steel erectionCoordinate daily activities with the Project Superintendent, including manpower, equipment, and material logisticsMonitor productivity, work sequencing, and scheduling to drive jobsite efficiencyReview project drawings, field details, and changes to ensure correct steel installationProactively identify and resolve constructability and coordination issuesConduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and job hazard analysesTrack and report performance metrics; ensure timecards and reports are accurate and timelyMentor and develop field leadership, promoting a culture of accountability and pride in craftsmanshipAct as a primary field liaison between crews, project management, and other tradesQualificationsRequired:Journeyman Ironworker with 8–10 years of experience in structural steel, including 3–5 years in a supervisory roleDemonstrated success in leading safe, productive crews on large-scale steel projectsDeep knowledge of steel erection techniques, rigging, crane operations, layout, and connectionsOSHA 30 certification requiredStrong ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specificationsExcellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skillsValid driver's license and reliable transportationPreferred:NCCCO or similar rigging/signalperson certificationExperience with commercial, industrial, or data center steel structuresWork EnvironmentField-based position on active construction sitesMust be comfortable with heights, steel structures, and changing site conditionsDaily use of PPE; physical activities include walking, climbing, lifting, and supervising ironwork tasks
