You will support providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.We require that Medical Assistants applicants are bilingual in Spanish & English.We are seeking a Medical Assistant for our clinic locations in Irving. Candidates must currently reside in the DFW area.General ResponsibilitiesInterview patients and document basic medical historyTake vitals and document findings in the patient chartOrganize, authorize and schedule appointments for referralsSend prescriptions electronically or by fax.Assist during medical examinationsTriage patient calls, assess the problem,Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and formsProven working experience as a medical assistantKnowledge of medical office management systems and proceduresExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workSocial perceptiveness and service orientedPunctual and self disciplinedStrong organizational and planning skillsTelemedicine ResponsibilitiesManage credit card chargebacks from patientsHandle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial recordsManage home lab testing kitsSkillsProven working experience as a medical assistantKnowledge of medical office management systems and proceduresExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise workSocial perceptiveness and service orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and planning skillsProficiency in MS Office and patient management software*Please do not call our clinic office.
