The Data & Pricing Specialist is the data owner for all business applications, product setup, pricing, and product relationships. This role is responsible for ensuring all back-end business data is accurate and audited regularly. ALI keeps data stored across multiple systems in various formats, so the Data & Pricing Specialist must be able to read and understand all data formats, modify formatting as needed, and be able to execute data connections so that each back-end system can communicate effectively.This role will assist with creating business requirements documentation for the IT team and help coordinate technical solutions. They will communicate those solutions to the Data Manager, and will coordinate with them to lead high level presentations.Position ResponsibilitiesExecute completion of all product data input processes and timelinesGather all data requirements from departmental leadersCreate product relationships using accounting, order entry, sales department, tax, and vendor data systemsUpload, implement, and maintain data across all company sitesCoordinate with various departmental members to update product naming convention, vendor changes, and reporting capabilitiesImplement customer product offerings within the web store portalEdit business requirements documentation for development of new business processes and new productsCommunicate effectively with all team members to deliver new goods and pricing schedule.Audit product data functions to ensure accuracyAssist in the development and implementation of the functionality of product access, user interface ability, and order processing capabilitiesModify reporting processes and views to ensure applicable data is obtained by various departments.Train staff on new product setup, system changes, and reporting capabilitiesAssist with managing master pricing data reports to ensure accuracy of product margins for retail price points set by the Executive TeamCreate and update co-op accounts to ensure accurate reporting and payout will be completed by the Finance TeamPosition QualificationsAssist in all other duties and responsibilities as requested.Required Skills/Abilities/Experience:Possess high emotional intelligence with a proven ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organizationHave the courage to go against the current curve and think differently.Have a bias for actionInspire a culture of innovation, execution, collaboration, accountability, positivity, and funProven leadership and managerial skillsStrong communication skills and ability to work with many levels of the organizationAbility to work on multiple project components simultaneouslyAbility to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program managementThe ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems quickly in a high pressure environmentProficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Word.Education & Experience:Bachelors’ Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Management Information Systems
