*Mechanical Engineer* Location: Livermore, CA (Onsite) Department: Stack Design & Engineering Remote customers need power now—not in 5 years. We're the hardcore engineering squad building fuel cells that deliver reliable, modular sub-10kW power so that end users can get their remote sensing and and dismounted systems operational immediately! . This is hands-on, high-pressure work with a team that doesn't quit. *Key Responsibilities:* Design and build bomb-proof systems —nailing structural integrity, thermal/flow management, and sealing for brutal environmental duty cycles. Be prepared to design MIL-STD 180G and then have fun while you conduct the tests on your parts and get them to pass. Ever get a product to pass the loose cargo test? Own BOMs, assembly docs, and mechanical test protocols that survive real-world punishment. Grind daily with seasoned engineers on prototypes, rapid iterations, and validation pushes toward production ramp. Help turn concepts into deployed hardware at speed. *Qualifications:* 5–10 years of mechanical engineering grit, with deep fuel cell system or hand-held power system experience. Proven success deploying mechanical products to market—designs that shipped, scaled, and ran in the field. Expert in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred), FEA, prototyping, and test execution. We expect you to be adept at design parts for additive manufacturing. BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or related; wired for intense, collaborative execution.
