Salesforce Support Engineer

Job SummaryOur Financial Services client is seeking a Salesforce Support Engineer to join their team! This role will be making small changes to apex code, making configuration changes and customizing lightning flows, managing custom integrations, and creating reports.This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role. Core ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the daily support and administration of Salesforce environmentsFunction as Salesforce specialist CRM developer responsible for the support of multiple salesforce applicationsOversee the daily operations, maintenance, and support of Salesforce ensuring high availability and reliabilityUse ServiceNow to track incident/request progressDaily administration and support of Salesforce CRM system including managing user setup, roles and security, territory management, customization of objects, fields, record types, and page layoutsDevelopment of triggers, custom objects, lightning flows, and small enhancements to Apex / Batch classesDevelop and create customized reports and dashboards within Salesforce CRMPerform data management activities including data loads and data clean up jobs as per business requirementCreate and maintain technical documentation and SOP documentations for Salesforce functionalities and integrations with 3rd party systemsStay updated on key technological trends & changes from Salesforce and identify opportunities to integrate them into current organizational processesRequired Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)5+ years hands on experience as Salesforce Administrator / Developer including Sales / Service Cloud3+ years of experience on debugging integration issues related to Informatica/ETL Data load, REST API, Platform events, Streaming API2+ years experience in ITSM tools like Service Now, Incident management, Problem/Change management2+ years’ experience in data architecture and data migrationStrong expertise in Salesforce configuration (Flows, Reports, Dashboards, Page Layouts, Record Types, Permission Sets, Territory management, Roles, Profiles, Sharing Rules)Hands on experience with Omnistudio and OmniscriptsDevelopment experience to enhance small Apex codes / Batch classesExcellent troubleshooting skills in LWCs & ability to translate business needs into practical Salesforce solutionsExperience with Agile methodology and tools (e.g. ADO, Azure, Confluence, etc.) Experience in Salesforce deployments using Copado and GitHubStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)Certified Salesforce Administrator Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I / Salesforce Platform App Builder Salesforce CPQ preferredSalesforce Financial Service CloudExperience with 3rd party tools like Marketo, Seismic, Qualtrics, Discovery FrameworkExperience with defect-management and testing-automation toolsKey Competencies & BehaviorsCross-Functional CollaborationProject and Timeline ManagementStrategic Thinking and CommunicationAttention to DetailAdaptability and Problem SolvingWork EnvironmentLocation: Chicago, ILHybrid: Work Model: Hybrid - onsite 3 or more days/week, as neededAnchor days: Tue/Wed/Thu - Work Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm CSTCompensation & BenefitsPay Range: The approximate pay rate for this position is between $35.00 and $40.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
