This role works under close supervision and handles routine tasks to support office operations.Will answer phones, greet and check in all visitors.This job profile is intended for support staff that follows established procedures and work under close supervision. Smaller/easier decisions are made autonomously.SC: Phoenix, ArizonaPrimary FunctionsUpon arriving make sure necessary lights are on and the TV with the safety message is turned onAnswer / screen / forward incoming phone calls using a multi-line telephone systemPersonably greet and welcome walk-in customers / visitors; ensure they are signed in accordingly then direct them to the appropriate staff memberDirect visitors to the appropriate person and officeEnsure reception desk is manned and the main telephone line has coverage at all times during business hoursPerform brief safety orientation accordingly with customers / visitors entering the premises, where applicableManage inventory and purchase office suppliesCreate and maintain inventory spreadsheet for admin and sales suppliesManage and update the conference room calendar as neededOrganize, set-up, break down and maintain conference room for all operations and executive meetingsOrganize and order lunch on an as needed basisOversee sorting and distribution of mail to both the administration and shop buildingsPrepare outgoing mail / UPS / FedEx (envelopes, packages, etc.)Perform other clerical receptionist duties such a filing, photocopying, data entry, etc.Keep common area clean and organizedProvide assistance to other departments as needed and per supervisor approvalExperience/SkillsKnowledge and proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power PointMaintain a professional attitude and appearanceExcellent communication and organizational skillsCustomer service qualityIndependently perform substantial clerical and office workThe ability to proficiently use a multi-line telephone system, computer, copier and other office equipmentBe a self-motivated individual with initiative and the ability to multi-taskTeam oriented and able to interact with multiple departmentsBilingual is required (English & Spanish)Work Environment & Physical DemandsOffice environmentWhile performing duties of this job, would occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects.May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsWhat we offer youPaid parental leaveParental leaveHealth insurance401(k) matchingPaid time offVision insuranceHealth savings accountDental insuranceGym membershipEmployee assistance programDisability insurance401(k) 6% MatchPaid holidaysWellness programSulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
