The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) to protect our organization's critical assets. This individual will work closely with various departments to ensure our security framework is resilient against evolving threats, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Develop Zero Trust Architecture: Design and implement a comprehensive Zero Trust Architecture framework tailored to the financial institution's needs and aligned with financial sector regulations and standardsCapability Model Development: Create and define a ZTA capability model, including key components such as identity management, device security, network segmentation, application security, and data protection.Assessment and Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of the current security posture, identify gaps, and develop strategies to address vulnerabilities.Roadmap Creation: Develop and maintain a detailed roadmap for the implementation and continuous improvement of ZTA.Collaboration: Work closely with IT, risk management, compliance, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment and integration of security practices.Policy and Procedure Development: Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards in line with ZTA principles.Security Tools and Technologies: Evaluate, recommend and implement security tools and technologies to support the ZTA framework, such as IAM solutions, MFA, micro-segmentation, and SIEM systems.Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance awareness and understanding of ZTA principles and practices among staff.Monitoring and Reporting: Establish continuous monitoring and reporting mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of ZTA and make necessary adjustments.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
