Machine Operator

Looking for 1st shift and 2nd or 3rd shift Machine Operators! We are growing! Our Machine Operators run equipment such as a saw, drill, or banding machine and fills in for other positions as needed. The machine operator is responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of the products, as well as maintaining a safe and clean work environment. A machine operator must have good communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A machine operator must also be flexible and adaptable to changing work demands and schedules. Starting pay would be between $20-$24 per hour depending on experience and shift. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform machine set-up, operation, and maintenance according to standard operating procedures Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure specifications are met Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that arise during production Assist other operators and team members as required Follow safety rules and regulations at all times Report any incidents, accidents, or malfunctions to the supervisor Maintain a clean and organized work area Coordinating with other operators, technicians, engineers, and managers to ensure smooth operation of the facility or plant Requirements Proven experience in operating CNC Machinery Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations for operating different machines Skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and quality control Flexibility to adapt to changing work assignments and schedule Stevens Industries, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
