This role requires strong leadership, communication, technical expertise, workforce coordination, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are executed successfully while maintaining safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.The Superintendent will work closely with Project Managers, Safety personnel, field technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and customers to ensure projects remain aligned with schedules, budgets, and operational goals.Responsibilities and DutiesOversee and fully understand all project requirements, specifications, drawings, and scope of work to ensure projects are installed accurately and according to documentationLead and supervise field crews, subcontractors, and project personnel on structured cabling and low voltage projectsPlan and coordinate project labor, materials, tools, equipment, and resources to ensure efficient project executionMaintain ownership of daily field operations, workforce planning, and installation qualityEnsure all quality control procedures and company safety protocols are implemented and maintained throughout the project lifecyclePromote and maintain a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with all OSHA regulations, customer requirements, and company safety standardsManage large-scale, multi-story, campus, and mission-critical projects with teams of six (6) or more personnelCoordinate with Project Managers regarding schedules, manpower forecasting, material procurement, and project progressAttend and participate in all project meetings, including coordination, scheduling, safety, and customer meetingsMaintain excellent communication with customers, project management teams, Safety Managers, vendors, and field personnelIdentify and proactively resolve field-related issues, delays, and installation challengesEnsure all project documentation is completed accurately and timely, including:Test resultsAs-built drawingsCloseout documentationWarranty submissionsDaily reportsSupport project turnover and closeout activities to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project completionMentor and train field personnel to support employee development and operational growthPreferred Experience & Qualifications7–10 years of experience in structured cabling, low voltage systems, construction management, or related field leadership rolesStrong experience leading commercial structured cabling and technology integration projectsExperience managing large-scale commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, or campus environments preferredBICSI certification preferredOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferredStrong working knowledge of:Structured CablingFiber OpticsCCTV SystemsAccess ControlAudio Visual SystemsNetwork InfrastructureTechnology IntegrationAbility to read and interpret:Construction drawingsSpecificationsBlueprintsSubmittalsRFIsStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organizationAbility to work in fast-paced construction environments while managing multiple prioritiesValid driver’s license with the ability to travel to project sites as neededCore CompetenciesLeadership & Team DevelopmentWorkforce Coordination & PlanningSafety & Compliance LeadershipProblem Solving & Critical ThinkingCommunication & Customer ServiceOrganizational & Time Management SkillsAttention to DetailConflict ResolutionAdaptability in Fast-Paced EnvironmentsAccountability & OwnershipCompensation & BenefitsElectra Link offers a competitive compensation package based on experience, along with opportunities for career growth and advancement.Benefits include:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Life Insurance with Buy-Up OptionsShort-Term DisabilitySupplemental Ancillary BenefitsPaid Time Off (PTO)401(k) and Roth Retirement PlanEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Career Development & Advancement OpportunitiesCompany vehicle Cell phone stipend Why Electra Link?Electra Link is a Texas-based, employee-owned company with a long-standing reputation for delivering innovative, high-quality electrical and technology solutions.
