Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lawncare/Irrigation Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of irrigation systems and recurring lawncare maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of horticulture, landscaping, and irrigation technologies, and a passion for maintaining beautiful, healthy outdoor environments. This role involves supervising and working on a team(s) in the field, managing multiple projects, and ensuring the highest standards of landscape care are met. The Lawncare/Irrigation Manager will play a vital role in planning, implementing, and maintaining efficient irrigation solutions to support sustainable land management. Duties Lead and supervise landscaping/Irrigation teams in the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems. Oversee landscape maintenance activities including lawn care, tree care, gardening, and general horticulture practices. Develop and implement irrigation schedules tailored to specific landscape needs while ensuring water efficiency. Coordinate with clients to assess landscape requirements and provide expert recommendations on irrigation solutions. Manage construction projects related to landscape improvements and irrigation system upgrades. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation equipment to identify issues and coordinate repairs or replacements. Licensed Irrigator Preferred Experienced lawn crew lead with a minimum of 5+ years of experience Experience managing and optimizing daily lawn crew routes Experience maintaining equipment and conducting weekly inventory and truck inspections Training lawn crew staff with mowers, edgers, weed-eaters, blowers, pruners/pole saws Ensuring crew is in uniform every day Conducting weekly crew meetings Logging daily crew timecards 75% of time will be in field working with crews, training and completing weekly work 25% of time will be estimating, administrative and shopwork Understanding and hitting KPIs as set by management Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations. Train staff on proper maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and new technologies related to irrigation,lawncare and landscape care. Maintain detailed records of project progress, equipment inventory, and service schedules. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture. Supervising experience in a related field with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, construction practices, tree care, gardening techniques, and general maintenance. Familiarity with environmental sustainability practices related to water conservation. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Relevant certifications or training in horticulture, landscaping, or irrigation technology are preferred but not mandatory.
