Content Expansion Team Lead

Project Expedition, a rapidly growing travel company, is seeking a Team Leader for our Content Development Team. As part of our Supplier Partnerships Department, this role is focused on leading supplier onboarding and content quality, ensuring new tour operators are set up for success on our platform from day one. If you enjoy building processes, working cross-functionally, and helping partners succeed, this could be a great fit.The right candidate will lead by example, while onboarding new suppliers, managing early-stage relationships, and ensuring high-quality content and seamless integrations. You’ll play a key role in scaling our supply inventory and improving how we bring new experiences onto the platform. This is a hybrid role where you’ll lead a small team while also staying hands-on as an individual contributor.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team focused on onboarding new suppliersOwn the onboarding process from initial engagement through activationServe as the main point of contact for suppliers during onboardingPartner with technical teams to support integrations and resolve issuesEnsure all supplier content meets quality standards and is optimized for conversionImprove onboarding workflows, documentation, and playbooksTrack and drive performance against onboarding KPIs (time to launch, activation, quality)Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve processesCollaborate with product, operations, and commercial teams to share insights and improve the platformAnalyze supplier and onboarding data to drive better outcomesSupport early-stage supplier success through guidance and best practicesLeverage AI to optimize and automate repetitive tasks and processesThe ideal candidate:Experience leading or mentoring a teamStrong organizational and project management skillsClear and effective communicatorComfortable working cross-functionally, including with technical teamsDetail-oriented with strong analytical thinkingAble to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong relationship-building skillsExperience working with external partners or vendorsMarketplace, onboarding, or travel industry experience is a plusBenefits include:Annual company bonus (up to a total of $3,000, based on company targets - deferred eligibility)15 days of leave (increases to 20 days at 2 years tenure)Company Healthcare Plan (Company contribution $9K with 2 completely covered plans)401K company planAnnual work from home budget $500Annual training budget of $250TSA Precheck (worth $80)Annual Project Expedition tour credits of $750Employee discounts on thousands of tours and activitiesAdditional InformationWhile we’re excited to grow our team across the U.S., we’re currently unable to hire employees residing in California or New York.Please note that while this is a remote position, it is not suitable for digital nomads. This role is great for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, works independently, and is always looking for ways to improve how things are done.Compensation Range: $50K - $65K
