Nammo employees working at the Florida site manufacture all types of 40mm low and high velocity ammunition; pyrotechnic marking; signaling and tactical illumination devices; battlefield effects training simulators; demolition charges; hand grenade fuzes; and other ammunition components. Additionally, they provide load, assemble, and pack (LAP) services for large caliber direct-fire ammunition. The Warehouse Technician is responsible for the accurate and efficient accounting, storage, and movement of NPI’s raw materials and finished goods. The Warehouse Technician will also independently perform inventory picks, cycle counts and physical inventory, storage and movement of inventory, and shipments. The Warehouse Technician main goal is support NPI’s production departments while maintaining superior inventory management. Proficient use and operation of forklifts and other equipment necessary for inventory movement and storage. Fulfil inventory picks for production without error. Complete accurate cycle counts of inventory, as scheduled, with no error in record keeping. Serve as backup for receiving in D365. Serve as back up to the Tool Crib Coordinator. What Dedicated Teammates Bring Ability to operate and maintain forklift license. Ability to read and preform basic math for inventory counting. Ability to understand capability and net explosive weights/net explosive quantity to ensure full compliance. Ability to understand the Materials Policies and Procedures for proper storage and movement of raw materials and finished goods. Ability to work as a team to complete inbound and outbound shipping loading. Knowledge of MS Project, MS Office, Great Plains, and Dynamics 365. Must possess strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills and be capable of working in a team-based atmosphere that includes both manufacturing and office environments. High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2 years’ experience in similar warehouse operations. Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing and the ability to travel frequently.
