Fleet Services Clerk Nashville, TN Full Time - TemporaryWood Personnel has partners with a Nashville based organization to identify a detail oriented Temporary Fleet Services Clerk to support vehicle title processing, asset tracking, and auction coordination. This role works closely with internal teams, auction partners, and regulatory agencies to ensure all vehicle and equipment records are accurate, compliant, and properly transferred.Compensation and Hours for the Fleet Services ClerkFull TimeTemporary positionIn Office$19 per hourMonday through Friday8:00 AM to 4:30 PMRequirements of the Fleet Services ClerkHigh school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business preferred1 to 3 years of clerical or administrative experience, ideally involving vehicle titles, tag and title work, or DMV processesFamiliarity with accounting or financial processing is a plusWorking knowledge of title regulations, registration processes, and related compliance standards preferredStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ExcelAbility to learn and navigate systems used by government agencies and internal platformsHigh level of accuracy in data entry and ability to manage large volumes of informationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsDependable work history with consistent job tenure preferredResponsibilities of the Fleet Services ClerkReview vehicle titles and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completenessCoordinate communication with auction houses, internal sites, and external vendorsProcess payments related to auction activity and complete asset retirement documentationSubmit paperwork to appropriate agencies for registration and ownership transfersManage toll activity and submit invoices for payment processingExtract and organize fuel data from internal systems to support tax reportingMaintain and update asset records within fleet management softwareTrack title status and maintain accurate records within internal databases and auction platformsResearch and resolve issues such as missing titles, VIN discrepancies, or incorrect vehicle detailsDistribute title documents to buyers and sellers to finalize ownership transfersEnsure all vehicle and asset records are properly organized, filed, and secured throughout the lifecycle of each transaction
