We believe our employees are our greatest asset, and we invest in their success so they can continue supporting critical national security missions.Position SummaryLeading Solutions is seeking a Lead Network Engineer to support the Global Simulation Capability at the National Simulation Center (NSC) located at Fort Leavenworth, KS. This position supports the NSC Support Operations task order under the MTCCS II IDIQ.This is a 100% on-site position supporting mission-critical simulation and network operations. The Lead Network Engineer will serve as a technical leader responsible for managing network operations, supporting distributed simulation environments, and ensuring reliable communications across multiple systems and events.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and quickly troubleshoot issues across federate systems (both co-located and remote), RTI infrastructure software, client system software, and networking environmentsServe as manager of the JLCCTC Federation and act as a communications hub for multiple simultaneous eventsProvide technical recommendations and timeline guidance to government representatives regarding JLCCTC capabilitiesEnsure exercise databases are complete, accurate, functional, and delivered on timeSupport network architecture, integration, and operational readiness across simulation environmentsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Network Management or a related field(10 years of recent network engineering experience may substitute for degree)Minimum 5 years of experience in network architecture design and implementationMinimum 5 years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining server platforms and network devices, including firewall configurationAdvanced skills in MS server platforms, switching, firewall configuration, and network troubleshootingStrong understanding of LAN/WAN environments, firewalls, security practices, storage, backup methodologies, and technology integrationU.S. Citizenship requiredActive Secret Security Clearance requiredDoDD 8570.01-M IAT II certification (Security+ or equivalent OS certification)Other QualificationsFrequent use of hands and arms; prolonged sitting may be required.Specific vision abilities: close vision, color vision, and focus adjustment.Ability to interpret instructions involving multiple abstract and concrete variables.Why Join UsCompetitive salary: $92,000 per yearOpportunity to support a high-visibility national defense missionCollaborative team environment supporting advanced simulation capabilitiesStability and growth within a government-focused organizationIf you are a technical leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys solving challenging network problems, we encourage you to apply.J-18808-Ljbffr
