Board Secretary (Volunteer Board Position – Remote)Art For All is seeking a volunteer Board Secretary to support the organization's governance, board communication, and meeting organization.Art For All is a nonprofit organization providing inclusive arts, recreation, and community programs for adults with developmental and physical disabilities in the Seattle/Shoreline area. Our programs include art classes, community events, exhibits, recreation activities, and collaborative creative opportunities designed to foster inclusion, connection, and community engagement.The Board Secretary plays an important organizational role by helping maintain board structure, communication, and documentation. This is a remote volunteer board position and is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, collaborative, and interested in supporting a growing community nonprofit organization.Responsibilities May IncludeAssisting with board meeting agendas and schedulingRecording and organizing meeting minutesMaintaining board and governance documentsHelping track important organizational and filing datesSupporting communication between board membersAssisting with governance and organizational organization as neededThis role works collaboratively with organizational leadership and does not require managing day-to-day program operations.Ideal QualificationsStrong organizational and written communication skillsComfortable working remotely through email and shared online documentsAttention to detail and follow-throughInterest in nonprofit governance and community impactExperience with administration, nonprofit work, governance, or board support is helpful but not requiredTime CommitmentFlexible, approximately a few hours per month depending on meeting schedules and organizational needs.Additional InformationArt For All is a collaborative and community-focused organization.
