Client Advisor

For over 40 years, we’ve partnered with family-owned and closely held businesses, helping them grow, transition ownership, and prepare for long-term success.As a Client Advisor, you’ll work with business owners in the areas of succession planning, estate coordination, and executive benefit strategies. This role is ideal for someone with a foundation in financial planning or investment concepts who wants to apply those skills in a broader business advisory context.This is not an investment advisory or portfolio management role. While familiarity with investment and financial planning concepts is important, the primary focus is helping business owners plan for the future of their companies and personal wealth in a holistic way.What You’ll Do:Client Engagement & Advisory Support: Work alongside our owner to support client engagements with business owners and executives. Prepare client presentations, reports, and planning materials.Strategic Planning Support: Assist in succession planning, including ownership transition strategies and continuity planning. Contribute to estate and legacy planning discussions in coordination with clients’ legal and tax advisors. Support the design and analysis of executive benefit and retention plans.Financial Analysis & Insights: Build and maintain financial models, including cash flow projections, tax mitigation strategies, and scenario analysis. Analyze financial statements and business performance to inform planning recommendations.What We’re Looking For:Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field. Minimum of one year of experience in financial planning, investment analysis, accounting, or a related discipline preferred. Series 6 and Series 63 will be required. Candidates who do not have them will be required to take the exams to secure these licenses.Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills. Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to grow in a structured training program. Working knowledge of financial planning concepts, investment vehicles (e.g., mutual funds, retirement accounts), and basic tax principles. Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills (financial modeling experience preferred). Ability to interpret financial statements and translate insights into planning strategies.Ability: A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle record and felony/misdemeanor background check.
