Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. This energetic position ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, supporting seamless food preparation and service. Your dedication to cleanliness and safety will help uphold our high standards of food safety management and sanitation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities: Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and prep work under supervision. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines aligned with kitchen health and safety standards. Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and efficiently to ensure a tidy dining environment. Handle manual lifting of heavy items such as large pots or crates of supplies safely and correctly. Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation to prevent contamination or cross-contact. Operate kitchen equipment responsibly while adhering to safety guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. Qualifications: Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently. Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment operation are advantageous. Strong understanding of kitchen health and safety standards, including proper use of cleaning agents and sanitizers. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting the overall hospitality experience.
