Other locations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide high quality air permitting and compliance support to manufacturing companies across the United StatesResearch and assess facility operations for regulatory applicabilityComplete air quality permit applications for major and minor source facilitiesPrepare air emission reports, greenhouse gas reports, compliance reportsProvide on-site visits to clients for inspections, compliance support, and regulatory trainingBuild and develop client relationships focusing on our Core ValuesProvide general consulting solutions related to all environmental areas including hazardous waste, stormwater, SPCC, and Community-Right-to-KnowCollaborate with other U.S. Compliance practitioners to execute environmental deadlines and projectsPosition RequirementsMinimum of a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related science disciplineMinimum of three (3) years’ work experience with an industrial, research, consulting, or regulatory agencyIdeal candidate will have at least three (3) years of experience in air quality permitting and complianceIdeal candidate will have experience in AERMOD air dispersion modelingAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsKnowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory authorities and applicable environmental regulationsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, DynamicsExcellent verbal and written communication, comfortable hosting presentations, and interpersonal skillsExcellent time management skills to support multiple activities on an ongoing basis by the given deadlineAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment with a diverse workloadStrong attention to detailFlexible and willing to support diverse projects as neededAbility to travel to client sites for routine visits regionally and/or nationally (approx. 20% of the time)If you’re looking for a career “opportunity” and not a “job,” U.S. Compliance could be the place.
