Armed Security Officer

Job Summary Must Have A ST CHARLES Armed LIC. We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise. The Armed Security Officer will utilize their skills in conflict management, surveillance, and loss prevention to ensure the safety of all individuals on site. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, assessing threats and taking appropriate action. Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activities within the premises. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure compliance with security protocols. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the safety of individuals in distress. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations. Document all incidents accurately in reports for future reference and analysis. Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on security practices and protocols. Qualifications Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Strong knowledge of conflict management techniques and loss prevention strategies. Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the job demands.
