Armed Security Officer

Overview Must Have A ST CHARLES Armed LIC. We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed while effectively managing any potential threats or incidents. Responsibilities Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to ensure the safety of the premises. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site. Collaborate with law enforcement when required, providing detailed reports of incidents. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property. Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Skills Proficient in first aid and CPR techniques. Background in law enforcement or military service is preferred. Strong surveillance skills with experience in operating CCTV systems. Knowledge of security protocols and loss prevention strategies. Excellent conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively. Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
