This role is responsible for overseeing all bar operations, leading a large team, maintaining strong service standards, and ensuring the bar runs efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of bar management experience, is confident managing heavy volume, and knows how to build structure, accountability, and consistency across a large staff.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all day-to-day bar operationsLead, manage, and support a large team of bartenders, barbacks, and support staffCreate and maintain staff schedules based on business levels, events, and operational needsHire, onboard, train, and develop bar staffMaintain high standards of service, speed, accuracy, cleanliness, and professionalismEnsure the bar is fully set up, stocked, organized, and ready for service at all timesManage inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, and product rotationMonitor liquor, beer, wine, and bar supply usage to control waste and protect costsEnforce recipes, portioning, cash handling procedures, and company policiesOversee opening and closing procedures and ensure they are completed correctly every shiftAddress guest concerns quickly and professionally and help create a strong overall guest experienceMaintain a visible, hands-on presence on the floor during serviceWork closely with ownership and leadership to improve systems, staffing, and operational performanceEnsure compliance with all alcohol service laws, safety standards, and health regulationsReview performance of staff members and provide coaching, feedback, and accountabilitySupport the execution of special events, high-traffic weekends, and major service periodsQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of bar management experience requiredProven experience managing a high-volume bar operationExperience leading large teams in a fast-paced environmentExtremely organized with strong attention to detailStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to multitask and make quick decisions under pressureStrong knowledge of bar service, inventory systems, ordering, and labor managementExperience with staff training, conflict resolution, and performance managementMust be dependable, professional, and solutions-drivenMust be comfortable working nights, weekends, holidays, and peak event periodsPreferred TraitsStrong floor leadership presenceAble to stay calm and organized in high-pressure situationsHigh standards for cleanliness, structure, and executionTeam-oriented leader who holds staff accountable while building a strong work cultureComfortable managing both the guest-facing side of the business and the behind-the-scenes operational detailsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for long periodsAbility to lift and carry bar products and supplies as neededAbility to work in a loud, crowded, high-energy environmentWhy Join CTR Food WorksThis is an opportunity to lead one of Atlanta’s most ambitious bar operations.
