Analytics Engineer
Overview
In this role you will build and maintain data models and self-serve tooling for Supply Chain, Merchandising, Marketing, and CRM analytics, acting as the data expert for planning and allocation domains. You will own data integrity and the data processing layers powering decisions, and you’ll deliver Looker dashboards that replace manual reporting. The position sits on the Analytics Engineering team and emphasizes cross-functional collaboration to translate business questions into durable data products with reliable quality.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain production data models for supply chain and merchandising decisions (sales, demand, inventory, turn, POs, allocation)Be the go-to data expert for domain data, with deep knowledge of data warehouse and pipelinesCollaborate with Supply Chain, Merchandising, Marketing, CRM, product, and engineering to translate business questions into durable models and self-serve toolingOwn data integrity, availability, transformation logic, and efficient data access for supported domainsDevelop and maintain Looker reports and dashboards used by planners and merchantsSupport marketing and CRM analytics alongside supply chain work (campaign performance, channel reporting)Identify data gaps, write data product specs, and coordinate with engineering to implement trackingAutomate processes, implement testing/monitoring to surface data quality issues earlyDocument models so stakeholders can understand and trust the data without reliance on the owner
Key requirements3+ years of experience building data models integrating multiple data sources using dbt or similar toolsExpert SQL and database design, capable of writing efficient queries on large datasetsAdvanced Excel skills for partner collaboration1+ years building/maintaining Looker or equivalent BI dashboardsStrong analytical judgment with ability to translate data into actionable business recommendationsExcellent communication skills to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical partnersStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to move fast, be a team player, and continuously learnstrong communicationcollaborationanalytical thinkingdbt (bonus points)SQLdata warehousing concepts
