(1) Instructional Assistant (IA)/Paraprofessional: part-time, 10 months, 5.75 hrs/day, starting as soon as possible at the Palisades High School. The successful candidate will support students in the classroom, both in individual and small group settings, as directed by the teacher or supervisor. The ability to work calmly with student(s) exhibiting behavioral and academic challenges and have the ability to follow the direction of professional staff is needed. Although not required, those with a teaching certification are encouraged to apply.
