An aerospace client is looking for a Software Engineer with Active Secret Clearance to develop embedded real-time system softwareLocation: Camarillo, CA 93012 (Onsite)Position: Software Engineer with Active Secret ClearancePay Rate: $138.91/hr. on W2 (DOE)Duration: 12 months or longerSchedule: 9x80 AOVERVIEW:A Software Engineer to support our client’s EA-18G Programs. As a member of the EA-18G software team you’ll get to develop software to support our Growler Block 1 and Growler Block 2 programs. This position will serve on-site at Naval Air Warfare Center, Point Mugu and our client’s Camarillo, CA office.RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop embedded real-time system softwareWork in an Agile environment as part of a scrum teamResolve software and system defectsCollaborate with our customer, internal sites and disciplinesParticipate and contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical inter-change meetingsUse project dependent tools including:Rational Clear Case, ClearQuest, DOORSGit, Bitbucket, Jira, ConfluenceAda, C/C++, C#, PythonGreen Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and LinuxBasic Qualifications:US Citizenship is required.Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher, interim Secret is acceptableBS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 5 years of experience; or MS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 3 years of experienceExperience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#Knowledge of object-oriented software developmentAbility to function as a member of an integrated teamExperience with version control systems (e.g. git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.)Preferred Qualifications:Strong verbal communication and customer service skillsStrong collaborative mindsetExperience working full software life cycle experience on large scale formal DoD programExperience programming with Ada languageExperience programming with C++ languageExperience with real-time embedded software developmentExperience working in an Agile environmentElectronic Warfare system development and design experienceAbout our client:Our client is a world leader and premier innovator in aerospace, with over 100,000 top talent employees providing the most advanced products and technologies in the industry.
