Freelance Learning Project Manager
Overview Location: United StatesSweetRush has an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join our Talent Solutions team.SweetRush is a consulting, design, and staffing firm specializing in HR-related services that help foster life-centered businesses and organizations. We design learning experiences using agency-level graphics and leading-edge technology to build high-performing cultures, leaders, and teams, and to help clients grow their learning teams with qualified professionals.We are a remote, global, diverse, and caring community that values creativity, innovation, and collaboration. This role is with one of our clients in the Consumer Products industry and is focused on coordinating short-term integration projects within our Integration Management Office team.This is a 3-month contract for 40 hours per week, with potential for renewal and extension based on client need and performance.Contract Details Contract: ~3 months, 40 hours per weekStarting as early as October; continues through year-end with potential to renew for 3–6 months, and possibly longer (up to 3 years) based on client need and satisfactionHourly rate: $60/hourResponsibilities Project Planning & Execution Lead end-to-end project planning, including scope, resources, timelines, budgeting, and stakeholder alignment, ensuring delivery within constraintsProficient in Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies tailored to project needsDevelop project charters, timelines, resource plans, and risk assessmentsUse Stage & Gate framework and PM systems to ensure disciplined execution and data-driven decisionsCoordinate with technical teams, business units, and external vendors to align objectives and deliverablesStakeholder Engagement & Communication Act as primary contact for project stakeholdersProvide regular updates on status, risks, and issuesFoster transparency and accountability across teamsRisk Management & Issue Resolution RAID risk management and proactive mitigation throughout the lifecycleEscalate issues to stakeholders and leadership with mitigation proposalsMaintain contingency plans for unforeseen challengesTechnical & Process Governance Support integration of new systems/processes into existing operationsOversee item setup, tracking, and troubleshooting through the Go-to-Market process for smooth transitionsQualifications Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in innovation or integration projectsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related fieldPRINCE2 or PMP certification preferredExperience with end-to-end Idea to Market processesPreferred experience managing a product's entire lifecycle from concept to deliveryAbout SweetRush & Equal Opportunity SweetRush is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
