Shop Technician

What You'll Do as a Shop Technician: As a Shop Technician, you'll work alongside experienced technicians in the shop and occasionally in the field. You'll receive hands-on training while contributing to the success of our client's service operations.Key Responsibilities - Shop Technician:Assist Service Technicians with inspection, service, and repair of rotating equipmentSupport shop service work including cleaning, labeling, painting, and preparing customer equipmentPerform general shop housekeeping and organizationLoad, unload, and move tools, parts, and equipmentAssist with service documentation and paperworkFollow all safety policies and proceduresParticipate in service meetings and training sessionsLearn products, applications, and service processes through on-the-job trainingWork independently or as part of a team to meet service deadlinesWhat We're Looking for in a Shop TechnicianMechanically inclined and eager to learnEnjoy hands-on, physical workAre dependable, safety-minded, and detail-orientedHave a strong work ethic and positive attitudeWant a long-term career, not just a jobQualifications for Shop TechnicianRequired:High school diploma or GEDBasic mechanical aptitude or interestAbility to lift and maneuver equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs regularly)Basic computer skillsAbility to work overtime occasionallyValid driver's licensePreferred:Experience operating a telehandler and/or skid steerTechnical or vocational coursework in mechanics or electronicsPrevious exposure to pumps, motors, or rotating equipment
