Customers gain fast, frequent, and efficient insights to make confident decisions.About the Role As a Software Engineer at Remesh, you will scale a revolutionary means of communication and help change how we understand people. You will build, maintain, and test new and existing features using modern AI-assisted development workflows.You will work with a cross-functional team of product managers and engineers (and sometimes Go-to-Market teams) to improve existing features, build new ones, and scale our platform to serve more users and use-cases.We are transitioning to an AI-first development workflow, leveraging tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and similar AI coding assistants. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with AI tools and possess strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.Daily and Monthly Responsibilities Writing, maintaining, and testing codeLeveraging LLMs and AI coding assistants to accelerate development velocity while maintaining high code quality standardsIdentifying and resolving issues, bugs, and requests efficiently with AI-augmented debugging and analysisCollaborating with product managers and designers to build engaging features for our usersDesigning, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that integrate third-party APIs (e.g., LLMs) to provide new featuresBuilding and integrating AI agents and agentic workflows into our platform and development processesSupporting internal teams with engineering expertiseCollaborating with engineers to improve codebase and architectureContributing to and refining AI-first development practices and toolingWorking with colleagues to build complex featuresMinimum Qualifications 3-5 years of professional software development experience2+ years of proficiency in one of Python, Ruby, Java, Go, or RustExperience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, or similar)Ability to effectively prompt and collaborate with LLMs to accelerate development2+ years of experience with common web technologies, frameworks, and paradigms2+ years of experience applying fundamental software engineering concepts, conventions, and best practices2+ years of experience with unit tests and testing best practicesStrong critical thinking skills to evaluate and refine AI-generated codeExperience developing on Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or AzurePreferred Qualifications 5+ years of professional software development experienceExperience building, deploying, or integrating AI agents and agentic systemsExperience with Python and DjangoExperience with Kubernetes and DockerExperience with ReactUnderstanding of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns and vector databasesThe Benefits of Working with Remesh Four Day Work Week (4DWW)Sabbatical Leave AvailableMedical/dental/vision coverageWork from anywhere in the USRemesh Equity401k Retirement Plan$500 one-time use work-from-home allowance$150 monthly WFH stipend28 days of PTO annuallyEqual Opportunity Employer statement remains in scope of legal compliance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
