Warehouse Associate

Well established industrial supplier, Eugene Fastener is looking to grow our team. This position is for general customer service and warehouse support. The warehouse responsibilities include order filling by using a hand held scanner to pick, pack, and ship orders. Receiving, shipping, and order entry utilizing in-house software. General customer service for walk-in, phone, and web orders. Responsibilities Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pull, pack, wrap, label, ship) Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits General Customer service - counter and phone with computerized order entry Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and comply with rules and regulations Skills Proven working experience as a warehouse worker Experience with customer service Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems Proficiency with math, fractions, decimals Proficiency in data input, including typing on keyboards and handheld devices Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods Good organizational and time management skills Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to climb a ladder Ability to use a counting scale Current forklift license High school degree Work Remotely No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Paid time off Schedule: Day shift Language: English (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Work Location: In person
