Summary
Directs and coordinates development and production activities of computerized management information systems by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates within the guidelines provided by LNS Group IT Department. The responsibilities include developing and managing the IT roadmap, developing, and managing a budget, project planning and execution, establishing and enforcing policies to use information technology, operate information technology systems (in house or outsourcing solution with group company or third-party provider) for three facilities (Kings Mountain, Meadville and Cincinnati).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Consults with management to analyze computer system needs for management information and functional operations, to determine scope and priorities of projects and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisition.
Recommends and develops plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases and budget.
Manages implementation, installation, and operation of information systems for the North American Business Unit.
Monitors and optimizes network performance through dashboards and other analytics tools.
Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products.
Designs, implements, and maintains scalable and secure enterprise network solutions.
Configures and manages firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, routing and segmentation in complex enterprise environments.
Configures and manages firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points across multiple enterprise locations.
Manages and interacts periodically with wireless and landline providers.
Provides first and second level support to end users.
Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage and retrieval functions of computer hardware and software, including servers, to ensure reliability and performance to support all business processes.
Minimizes the company's risk to zero tolerance levels to prevent outside extraneous factors, such as viruses, from impacting the company's operations.
Develops, maintains, and optimizes disaster recovery plans.
Supports and maintains current tools, as well as creating new tools.
Thinks globally and acts locally according to group policies provided by the LNS Group IT Department.
Provides technical guidance and mentoring to IT staff.
Other duties as assigned by management.
