Controller | Cannabis Manufacturing & ProductionWhat You'll Be DoinLead all accounting and financial reporting activities, including month-end close, AP/AR, reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory, and cost accountingDevelop and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial workflows to support continued growthPartner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and business planningDeliver meaningful financial reporting and KPIs that improve operational visibility and decision-makingSupport ERP optimization, systems implementation, and process automation initiativesWork cross-functionally with operations, sales, and executive leadership to analyze performance and identify opportunities for improvementBuild and mentor a high-performing accounting team as the organization scaleEnsure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific financial requirementsWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controlExperience with cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing environmentsERP implementation, optimization, or systems integration experienceAbility to balance strategic planning with day-to-day executionStrong analytical, communication, and leadership skillsPreferred BackgroundCPA preferredExperience in cannabis, manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or other regulated industriesFamiliarity with complex inventory environments and operational financKnowledge of cannabis-specific accounting considerations, including 280E, is a plus
