6G Stainless Steel TIG Welders

6G Stainless Steel Tig Welders Mako Industries is seeking experienced 6G Stainless Steel Tig Welders for an offshore assignment. Candidates must be skilled in GTAW/TIG pipe welding and capable of producing welds that pass 100% X-ray (RT) inspection standards. Offshore experience is preferred. Responsibilities: Perform GTAW/TIG welding on stainless steel pipe in the 6G position Complete high-quality root, fill, and cap welds to code specifications Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding procedures Ensure all welds meet ASME/API standards and pass 100% radiographic inspection Prepare, fit, and align pipe prior to welding Maintain clean, defect-free welds in offshore working conditions Follow all offshore safety procedures and company policies Work with fabrication and pipefitting crews to complete projects on schedule Qualifications: Minimum 3–5 years of 6G stainless TIG welding experience Ability to pass welding test and X-ray inspection Offshore experience preferred Valid passport required Must be able to travel offshore and work rotational schedules Knowledge of purge welding and stainless pipe procedures TWIC card, BOSIET, HUET, or offshore safety certifications are a plus Must comply with all drug testing and safety requirements Competitive offshore pay Per diem/travel accommodations Overtime opportunities Long-term project potential Benefits package available based on assignment ASME Section IX certification Experience in refinery, petrochemical, or offshore oil & gas projects Carbon steel TIG/Stick experience is a plus
