What You'll Do as a Parts Room Associate: Receive, record, and stock incoming parts and supplies from various delivery servicesIssue parts, tools, and equipment to employees across departmentsMaintain accurate inventory records and periodically conduct inventory countsUse Maximo software to manage parts room activity and document transactionsDrive company vehicle to retrieve or deliver parts (requires valid driver's license)Complete and forward necessary paperwork to the purchasing teamDistribute receiving documents to the purchasing supervisorAssist with general housekeeping duties and keep the work area cleanPerform additional duties as assignedWhat You Need to Bring to the Parts Room Associate: High school diploma or GEDValid driver's license and completion of mandated vehicle safety trainingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs. occasionallyComfortable standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing throughout the shiftAvailability to work rotating shifts, including occasional 12-hour shifts and on-call statusAbility to read and interpret instructions, safety rules, and proceduresBasic math skills and accurate inventory tracking abilitySuccessful completion of Bennett mechanical testingWillingness to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, humidity, noise)Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and vendorsWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay , access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
