Job Description About Us:We are a small, privately owned optometry clinic that prides itself on providing friendly, personalized, and professional eye care to our patients. Our team is close-knit, and we value a welcoming atmosphere for both patients and staff.Position Overview:We are looking for a dependable and friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. This person will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting our doctors and staff.Responsibilities:Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming environmentAnswer phones, schedule appointments, and confirm patient visitsCheck patients in and out, collect payments, and verify insurance informationMaintain accurate and organized patient recordsAssist with basic administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, and data entryCommunicate clearly with patients, doctors, and staff to keep the office running efficientlyQualifications:Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role preferred (medical office experience is a plus but not required)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentComfortable using computers and learning office software (experience with EHR systems is a plus)Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitudeWhat We Offer:Friendly, supportive team environmentCompetitive pay (based on experience)Benefits: 401(k), 401(k) matching, employee discount, PTO, Health insuranceOpportunities to grow within the clinicSchedule:8 hour shift Monday through WednesdayHigh school or equivalent (Preferred)Work LocationBenkelman office
