Cryptography Expert with Math & Programming

Salary: $90,000 - 125,000 per year Requirements: We require at least three years of industry experience.We are looking for a degree in Mathematics or Electrical Engineering with a Computer Science focus, or the equivalent through experience.We need strong knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, the mathematics behind them, and their use in protecting data.We expect solid programming ability and code analysis skills.We require familiarity with Unix-based command-line environments such as Linux.We need knowledge of network protocols, including TLS/SSL, SSH, IPsec, IKE, SRTP, and SNMP.We expect a strong foundation in information security concepts such as authentication, access control, and network security.We need excellent technical report writing skills.We are looking for someone who works well both independently and as part of a team.We value curiosity and a strong willingness to explore technical subjects in depth.We require strong communication skills, a positive attitude, customer-facing confidence, and effective collaboration skills.We need flexibility to travel.Preferred experience includes Common Criteria evaluations.Preferred experience includes FIPS 140-x testing.Preferred experience includes designing or implementing standards-based security features. Responsibilities: We will have you conduct laboratory-based testing of commercial hardware, software, and organizational security to verify compliance with internationally aligned government standards such as FIPS 140 and Common Criteria.We expect you to learn and apply security concepts and techniques such as entropy, access control, authentication, auditing, and side-channel analysis.You will become fluent in standards like FIPS 140 and Common Criteria.You will build deep expertise in technical areas such as cryptography, network protocols and security, hardware security, software engineering, databases, mobile devices, virtualization, and operating systems.You will assess the security architecture, implementation, and deployment of a range of advanced IT products.You will support our customers in security-related matters and help establish or strengthen your reputation as an industry expert.
