Key Responsibilities
Follow individualized plans of care under the direction of the Charge Nurse, RN, or LPN
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs): mobility, grooming, bathing, dressing, dining, and toileting
Provide restorative and supportive STNA care as directed by nursing
Observe and promptly report changes in resident condition to the nurse
Accurately document care, interventions, and events in the medical record
Adhere to infection control, safety, and facility policies at all times
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff
Support residents’ rights, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
Immediately report suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, or injuries to the appropriate supervisor
Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to promote a positive, team-oriented culture

Qualifications
Active Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) license required, or completion of a state-approved STNA training program with exam eligibility
High school diploma or GED preferred, not required
Previous nursing home or long-term care experience preferred, but not required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and maintain confidentiality
Comfortable working in a mechanical-lift facility
