Let's take a closer look at the role.Job Description Key ResponsibilitiesManage Daily Operations - Oversee logistics activities for an assigned book of customers, ensuring accurate shipment entry, scheduling, and execution.Forecast & Plan Customer Needs - Proactively plan "1 Week Out" to anticipate shipping demands, minimize disruptions, and maintain service efficiency.Handle Shipment Execution & Exceptions - Manage updates, reschedules, late reason codes, delivery exceptions, and audit large LTL shipments (?7 skids or ?7,000 lbs.).Customer Communication & Relationship Management - Serve as the primary point of contact, providing proactive updates, resolving issues, and delivering a high level of service.Billing, Audit & Afterhours Coordination - Ensure accurate billing references, resolve discrepancies with Freight Audit, submit afterhours tickets, and close out unbilled reports.Work EnvironmentOffice-based logistics environmentFast-paced, deadline-driven settingFrequent collaboration with internal teams and external customersOccasional afterhours coordination as neededQualifications EducationBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)Experience2+ years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operationsExperience with logistics systems (e.g., MercuryGate, customer portals) preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)Strong data entry accuracy and operational execution skills Personality TraitsHighly organized and detail-orientedProactive problem solver with a sense of urgencyStrong communicator with customer-first mindsetAbility to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environmentTeam player who can also work independentlyAdditional Information Pay/Benefits/Perks$21-23/hrAccrue up to five days PTO in first year.
