You'll actively troubleshoot and manage discrepancies within this system, ensuring accuracy and compliance in inventory management. Serving as a key liaison, you'll respond to inquiries from sales teams, providing essential information and support. Your role involves developing, generating, and disseminating comprehensive pulse reports, analyzing and interpreting intricate inventory trends such as stockouts, distributions, procurement costing, aging, valuation, forecasting, turnovers, vendor interactions, and overstocking.Responsibilities:Utilize inventory data and trends analysis to forecast demand, ensuring sufficient stock levels to support sales goals without overstocking.Develop and implement inventory strategies aimed at optimizing stock levels, minimizing stockouts, and maximizing sales potential.Ensure timely fulfillment of customer demands by maintaining appropriate inventory levels across various product categories, addressing customer preferences and market trends.Work closely with sales teams, providing inventory insights, supporting sales initiatives, and addressing inventory-related inquiries to enhance sales effectiveness.Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of the company's electronic tracking system for inventory management.Oversee and operate the system, guaranteeing accuracy, compliance, and optimal functionality.Troubleshoot and manage discrepancies within the inventory tracking system promptly, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective measures.Analyze inventory metrics, including stockouts, distributions, procurement costing, aging, valuation, days on hand, forecasting, turnovers, vendor interactions, and overstocking.Review, define, and maintain Periodic Automatic Replenishment (PAR) levels, optimizing inventory levels and stocking decisionsTrack and manage defectives, product returns, and scrap rates, ensuring proper documentation and analysis for process improvement.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records and documentation related to inventory control.Minimum Qualifications:Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older (18 in NY).Experience with METRC or ADILAS is highly preferred.Computer-savvy, with a knack for quickly mastering new software and proficiency in Windows-based software (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.Advanced knowledge of state-specific cannabis laws and regulatory compliance is non-negotiable.Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of valid auto insurance.Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders, facilitating efficient inventory management processes.Proficiency in data analysis, interpreting inventory trends, and utilizing inventory-related software and tools.Knowledge and experience in ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards related to inventory management, especially within the cannabis sector.Experience in leading a team or managing inventory control operations, demonstrating strong leadership, and decision-making skills.Demonstrated expertise in managing inventory systems, implementing inventory control processes, and optimizing inventory levels.Minimum of two years' experience in a leadership role.Minimum of three years' progressive experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or logistics is required - within the cannabis industry or a highly regulated environment is highly preferred.CIMP or CPSM certification or relevant industry-recognized certifications and/or an advanced degree in a related field is highly preferred.College degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or a related field is required.Green Flower and/or Ganjier Certification preferred.Physical and Environmental Requirements: Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours a day and rotating shiftsFlexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 50 poundsAbility to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout the workdayAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to use ladders (up to 12 ft. extension) and general hardware tools for repairsExtended computer and phone usage, including teleconferencesWork environments may include exposure to fumes, dust, odors, heights, motion, noise, and variable temperaturesPay range: $65,000 - $75,000 / yeariAnthus encourages applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
