Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial healthcare and clinic construction and renovation projects from pre-construction through closeout. The role focuses on delivering safe, on-time, and on-budget projects that meet clinical requirements and commercial goals. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing healthcare and clinic environments, strong safety credentials (OSHA 30), and proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full project lifecycle for commercial healthcare and clinic projects, including pre-construction, permitting, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; monitor progress and implement corrective actions to meet milestones and financial targets.
Ensure compliance with OSHA 30 requirements and applicable healthcare codes, regulations, and infection-control protocols.
Coordinate and manage contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants; oversee procurement and contract administration.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, safety, and progress; prepare punch lists and ensure timely resolution of deficiencies.
Serve as primary point of contact for clients, clinical staff, landlords, and internal stakeholders; provide clear status reporting and manage expectations.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; maintain accurate project documentation and change control records.
Lead commissioning and turnover activities, including coordination of training, warranties, and as-built documentation.
Promote continuous improvement and apply lessons learned to optimize delivery across similar healthcare and commercial projects.
Support retail fit-out requirements as needed for mixed-use or adjacent retail spaces (nice-to-have responsibility).
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering commercial healthcare and clinic projects.
OSHA 30 certification required.
Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare codes, infection-control practices, and clinic operational requirements.
Strong experience with project scheduling and budget management; proficiency with tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills; ability to work with clinical teams and execute in active healthcare environments.
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
PMP or other project management certification preferred.
Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience; experience in commercial clinic rollouts or multi-site programs a plus.
Retail fit-out experience is a nice-to-have but not required.
