Job Title:Operations Manager – Medical Job Type:W2Contract to Hire Location:Remote, USA Salary Range:$53 an hour Schedule:Nights/WeekendsJob Description: Overview: This role performs senior-level supervisory work and manages project-related activities while participating in the development and monitoring of related tasks. The manager oversees medical and non-medical appeals decisions and works under minimal supervision, contributing to departmental initiatives and independent judgment.Key Responsibilities: Plan and manage project activities aligned to contract deliverables Develop standardized approaches for sharing project information Prepare presentations and instructional materials within areas of responsibility Lead and facilitate regular team meetings Manage, train, and supervise staff workflows and productivity Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs Analyze workflow trends and implement improvement strategies Support special projects and perform additional duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications: Education: Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) required Additional clinical or medical administration experience may substitute for formal education Experience: 3–5 years of clinical or medical administration experience 3+ years of management or supervisory experience Demonstrated experience with medical necessity review Background in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, or Occupational Therapy preferred Active Nursing LicenseBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
