Server A Server is expected to represent the Mad Apple brand and serve the guest in a friendly, charismatic and efficient manner. Servers are expected to provide an exceptional, fulfilling and relaxing dining experience and to service the guests in the friendliest, convenient and attentive manner possible. Servers are preferred to have at least six months of prior experience in serving at a dine in restaurant. Servers need to have proficient skills in communication, included but not limited to having a friendly demeanor in person and having enough skills to communicate openly and willingly on the telephone. Servers will be required to Help guests navigate the Mad Apple menu and decide on dishes, educating customers on daily specials and providing direct insight to guests on what dishes they would prefer; having a complete knowledge of the menu including ingredients, having a knowledge base of the drink menu and in addition answering food preparation questions Understand the needs and wants of the guests they are serving and making sure that guests needs are taken care of in anticipation of guest wants. Have a flexible schedule that is able to adjust to the needs of the Mad Apple Restaurant. Have a team attitude. This includes and is not limited to a willingness to help other workers with tables, bringing out food and drinks and having a general willingness to help everyone on the team! Clean and bus guests tables after servicing them. Keeping an open communication line with the rest of the staff. Be able to stand on feet for shifts of 8 plus hours a day Have the ability to repetitively lift 15 plus pounds Inform the guest of daily deals and specials. Have the ability to upsell products Deliver checks and accept proper payments The Mad Apple is The Fox Valley’s premier restaurant & upscale pool room, The Mad Apple features burgers (fresh beef, bison, elk & red stag), wraps, salads, sandwiches, appetizers, desserts & sides all made from scratch daily.
