Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA)Location: Rosebud, SDJob Type: Full-TimeShift: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am shiftsStart Date: 1 to 2 monthsPay: $120/hr 1099 or $100/hr on W2Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team. The NP/PA will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients across a variety of acute and chronic conditions. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests.Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and injuries in collaboration with supervising physicians as needed.20-bed hospital with onsite hospitalist, 36 hours of MD coverage and 24 hours of APP coverage per day.Perform clinical procedures such as suturing, wound care, joint injections, and other approved interventions.Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive health measures.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.Qualifications:Current, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of practice.Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.Current BLS and ACLS certification required.Minimum 3 years of ER experience required.Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.Prime Physicians is a physician-led, The Joint Commission (TJC) Accredited, ISO 9001 certified and CMMI Level 3 appraised organization.
