ION Java Developer

Good java experience (minimum 5 years)- Good understanding of low-latency, multi-threaded code- Sound knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Exposure to functional programming is also highly desirable- Experience of working in agile teams- Solid understanding of Rates and Credit bonds and derivatives- Detailed understanding of the nuances of trading venues such as Bloomberg, TradeWeb- Previous ION knowledge, ideally to an expert level- Previous experience of ION MarketView platform and bond pricing with PXE- Looking for a new and exciting challenge- Self-starting attitude and the desire to take ownership of requirements front start to finish- Proactive, comfortable working in dynamic environments with fast-paced deliveries and changing requirements- An excellent communicatorNice to have:o Experience in automated testing and continuous integrationo Experience of Python, Perl and other scripting languageso Experience of Kafka
