Executive Assistant
Position OverviewWe are working with a premier private education institution seeking a mission-aligned, highly professional Executive Assistant to the Head of School. This role will serve as the primary administrative backbone for the Head of School’s office, facilitating effective governance and communication across senior leadership, the Board of Trustees, and the broader community.Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Support: Proactively manage complex calendars, travel logistics, expense reporting, and purchasing for the Head of School and Senior Leadership Team.Board Relations: Serve as the primary liaison to the Board of Trustees; coordinate meetings, prepare agendas/materials, record minutes, and maintain official governance records.Communication & Representation: Act as a professional gatekeeper, managing high-stakes verbal and written correspondence with faculty, parents, and external partners.Project Coordination: Track key action items from 1:1 meetings to ensure follow-through; assist in the preparation of briefing materials, talking points, and presentations.Event Support: Provide logistical planning and day-of coverage for major school events, including Board retreats, graduation, and community nights (occasional evening/weekend availability required).QualificationsExperience: 3–5+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting C-suite or high-level leadership. Experience in Education or Non-Profit sectors is strongly preferred.Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft and edit sophisticated reports and correspondence.Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. Candidates should have an emerging understanding of AI tools and a willingness to integrate them into workflows.Discretion: Proven ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with absolute professionalism and tact.Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
