What You’ll Do
Lead and develop cross functional teams – creating clarity, accountability, and a culture of trust, learning, and recognition.
Ensure high quality, on time, profitable delivery of energy related services – from strategic account planning day to day execution.
Build strong client partnerships – aligning solutions to needs and expanding opportunities across California and adjacent markets.
Translate California energy policy and market changes into actionable strategies for our Customer Engagement team.
Manage budgets, margins, and performance metrics – keeping projects on track and teams supported.
Collaborate with fellow Directors – improving systems, standardizing processes, and scaling what works.

Qualifications
Applicants for this role are required to have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred, but not required
10+ years of experience in business operations, program or business development, or selling complex energy-efficiency or technical services – ideally within industrial or utility environments
Demonstrated experience in project management, management coaching, and energy consulting
Experience fostering a positive team culture, promoting engagement, morale, collaboration and alignment with organizational values.
A successful candidate should also demonstrate these preferred characteristics and/or skills:
Experience serving as a culture ambassador, reinforcing behaviors, communication norms, and leadership practices that support a healthy, inclusive, and high-performing team
Project Management experience – preferably in energy efficiency, industrial services, or a related technical field.

Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, exempt position that can be remote and located in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zone. Central Time may be considered for the right candidate. Travel for this role is expected to be about 25%. The salary, as a national average is $137,500 (min) - $171,900 (mid) - $206,300 (max). At Cascade, transparency and fairness are core to how we work.
