Business Intelligence Developer ( SSIS, SSRS)

We are representing a top-tier global professional services firm headquartered in Boston. The organization is currently executing a major modernization of its enterprise analytics platform, providing a high-visibility opportunity to build a scalable, modern data ecosystem. This role is designed for a technical specialist who prioritizes the engineering side of BI, focusing on resilient data pipelines and sophisticated integration patterns rather than just report generation. Job Title: Business Intelligene DeveloperLocation: Boston, MA. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week onsite.Compensation: $130,000 to $140,000 base salary, plus a discretionary annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.Core ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement structured, multi-tier data environments to ensure platform scalability and high-quality data governance. Develop and optimize robust ETL/ELT workflows using the Microsoft BI Stack and modern integration tools. Partner with global business units, including Finance, HR, and Marketing, to deliver high-performance reporting solutions and interactive dashboards. Drive engineering excellence through Git-based version control and automated deployment (CI/CD) workflows. Contribute to the long-term roadmap for integrating advanced analytics and automated data processing into existing pipelines. Qualifications5+ years of dedicated experience in Business Intelligence or Data Engineering. Advanced proficiency in relational database programming, with a focus on performance tuning and complex procedural logic. Deep expertise within the Microsoft SQL Server ecosystem, specifically for enterprise-level data integration and reporting. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Exposure to Azure data services, Python scripting, or modern ELT frameworks is a plus.
